Safety Scores
Major Events are the occurrences of SPEEDING, STOPS SIGN VIOLATIONS, DISTRACTED DRIVING and SEAT BELT VIOLATIONS all as picked up by the VEDR's and GPS system in each truck
Scores are based on the number of these violations that a driver has in a rolling 12 week period. If a driver does not show up on this list, it means they have never had an event occurrence and is scored a 5.
Major Events
Minor Events are the occurrences of SEVERE BRAKING, SEVERE TURNING, and SEVERE ACCELERATION as picked up by the VEDR's and GPS system in each truck.
The significance of this is that the more of these SEVERE events a driver has, the more likely the driver will have a bad outcome or accident
Scoring for this is the average amount of these occurrences a driver has in a week. If a driver does not show up on this list, it means they have never had an event occurrence and is scored a 5
